Toronto’s Luminato Festival is for all those who love to create and those who love to be surrounded by creativity. This year’s festival runs from June 6 to 24 and, as always, will completely reimagine the city’s public spaces.

The Luminato Festival is a celebration of art and culture in all its forms. Theatre performances, dance shows, and music will all be on display during the event’s run. The schedule also includes thought provoking talks, such as that led by renowned human rights lawyer, Amal Clooney and her father-in-law, journalist Nick Clooney. The arts lineup includes such acts as, the documentary Mankiller, an Irish re-telling of Swan Lake, and lively musical event, the Ward Cabaret. Of, course, this is just the tip of the iceberg; there is a ton to see and do at Luminato.

In fact, there’s so much going on during the festival you may have trouble narrowing down your choices. If this is the case, not to worry. Luminato has pre-curated a selection of shows for each type of arts lover. In total, there are 34 shows happening this year.

Those who buy tickets to 3 shows will save 15 percent. If you buy tickets to four shows you’ll save 20 percent, and if you purchase tickets for five or more shows you’ll get 25 percent off. If you’re planning to pick up tickets to multiples shows it’s important to note that a few of the shows don’t qualify for the discount.

If you’re going to be coming to the city for the 2018 Luminato Festival and are looking for a hotel in the Toronto area, the Ramada Plaza Toronto is an excellent choice. Our central location is ideal for getting around to see all the shows and our comfortable and affordable rooms make the Ramada Plaza the ideal place to retire at the end of a busy day of soaking in arts and culture.
